On the afternoon of December 17, 2019, the signing ceremony of the Sino-German College of Qingdao Vocational and Technical College was held at Qingdao Vocational and Technical College.

Qin Chuan, Dean of Qingdao Vocational and Technical College, Cui Xiuguang, Principal of the Sino-German Applied Technology School in the West Coast New Area, and Hu Chengman, Executive Vice President of Rheincoast Co., Ltd., signed a framework agreement for the establishment of a Sino-German college.

Li Zhi, the Governor of Qingdao Education Bureau, Wang Jinsheng, Secretary of the Party Committee of Qingdao Vocational and Technical College, Cui Xiuguang, President of the Sino-German Applied Technology School of the West Coast New District, and Hu Chengman, Executive Deputy General Manager of Rhein Koester Co., Ltd., jointly unveiled the Sino-German Academy.

Sino-German College is jointly established by Qingdao Vocational and Technical College, Qingdao West Coast New District Sino-German Applied Technology School, and German Rhein Koester Co., Ltd., which integrates high-quality vocational education resources in the field of intelligent manufacturing technology between China and Germany. Sino-German College aims to establish a characteristic vocational education model college with "school, industry and city integration".
