On the afternoon of February 14, 2020, the signing ceremony of key intelligent manufacturing projects in Zibo High tech Zone was held.The Management Committee of Zibo High tech Zone signed a project cooperation agreement with Rhein-Koester and officially launched the construction of the project-Sino-German intelligent manufacturing demonstration base for intergration of industry and education. Jiang duntao, Secretary of Zibo Municipal Party committee, Yu Haitian, deputy secretary and mayor of Zibo Municipal Party committee, Bi Sidong, Secretary General of Zibo Municipal Party committee, Song Zhenbo, executive deputy mayor, Wei Yujiao, director of secretary management committee of Working Committee of high tech Zone and relevant leaders of Management Committee of high tech Zone attended the signing ceremony.

Yu Haitian, deputy secretary of Zibo Municipal Party committee and mayor, said in his speech that the signed projects have high technology content, large scale, strong radiation drive, and many projects are in the leading level of the industry at home and abroad, which will play an important role in promoting the innovation and development of the intelligent manufacturing industry in Zibo. It is hoped that the enterprises signed today will strengthen their confidence, overcome difficulties, speed up the construction of projects, strive to start early, put into production early and achieve results early, and seize the market opportunity. Zibo High tech Zone will provide high-quality and efficient services for the promotion of the project, take this opportunity to create a new engine and new momentum for innovation and development, and significantly improve the driving force and leading force for the high-quality development of the city.

The Sino-German intelligent manufacturing demonstration base project for  integration of industry and education is located in the west of Zibo middle school in the high tech Zone, covering an area of about 227 mu, with a total investment of about 600 million yuan and a total construction area of about 100000m². It is jointly constructed by such functional areas as Sino-German undergraduate cooperative education project of Germany Bielefeld University of applied technology, Sino-German intelligent equipment R & D and design center, Sino-German intelligent manufacturing industry service center, municipal mixed ownership secondary vocational school, Sino-German intelligent manufacturing public training base, etc. the three platforms of "International composite talent training and transportation platform", "intelligent manufacturing training equipment and teachers supply platform" and "industrial design and technical service platform".

With the strong support of Zibo Municipal Party committee and municipal government and the Management Committee of high tech Zone, Rhein-Koester will adhere to the development concept of "from Germany, integrated in China, and serving the world", introduce German high-quality vocational education resources and technology research and development advantages, deepen international exchanges and cooperation, build an international composite skilled personnel training brand, and help the Sino-German intelligent manufacturing demonstration base for integration of industry and education to build a large platform for joint talent training and technology transfer and agglomeration between China and Germany, and make positive contributions to promote innovation and development highlands for the provincial and ministerial construction of vocational education.
