On 6th of November, 2020, the signing ceremony of ‘Sino-German Intelligent Collaborative Robot R&D Center’ was held at Hall 4.1 in the 3th China International Import Expo.

Zheng Liangxian, the vice secretary of Zibo High-tech zone Labor Committee and executive vice director of Administrative Committee； Zhao Jian, the president of Siemens Advanta (China) Solution Business; Hu Chengman, the executive general manager of Rhein-Koester group, attended and represented to sign the agreement. Gai Weixing, the vice mayor of Zibo; Qi Xiaofu, the president of Zibo Bureau of Commerce; Doc. Zhu Xiaoxun, the executive vice president of Siemens (China) Co.,Ltd. and the general manager of Siemens Advanta (China); Man Zhiqiang, the Sales Director of Siemens Advanta (China) Solution; Chen Peng, the vice general manager of Rhein-Koester group, attended the signing ceremony.

Zheng Liangxian, the vice secretary of Zibo High-tech zone Labor Committee and executive vice director of Administrative Committee, indicated that the ‘Shandong Sino-German Intelligent Collaborative Robot R&D Center’ would enhance the all-dimensional development in industrial internet and intelligent manufacturing, he believes the project will strengthen the regional engine for economy development. He hopes both parties to accelerate the landing of project, and further promotes regional economy development.

Doc. Zhu Xiaoxun, the executive vice president of Siemens (China) Co.,Ltd. and the general manager of Siemens Advanta (China), indicated that Rhein-Koester is the long-term business partner of Siemens. Today, the cooperation between two parties has been moved forward, and jointly establish the ecology system of robotic industry, as well as enhance regional economy development of Zibo.

The Sino-German Intelligent Collaborative Robot R&D Center will establish Industrial IoT & Intelligent Collaborative Robotic Public Technology platform for technology application, technical R&D and incubation, the platform consists of 5 platform which are New Generation Intelligent Collaborative Robot R&D Platform, Intelligent Robot Flexible Manufacturing Platform, Robotic Online Intelligent Manufacturing and Sharing Platform, Lightweight Data Interconnection Solution Platform, Industrial Internet and Intelligent Robot Online Vocational Education Platform. For the project, Siemens would introduce their advanced technologies and talent resources to jointly integrate robotic technologies, AI technologies and industrial internet; and lastly form a world class industrial cluster and ecology system to enhance economy development.
