On 25th of November, 2020, the signing ceremony of ‘Dalian Polytechnic University & Rhein-Koester Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing College’ was held in the lecture hall of the university.  Rui Xiaomiao, the chancellor of Dalian Polytechnic University; Ren Wendong, the vice chancellor; Prof Eric Moskwa, the president of German Rhein-Koester Co.,Ltd.; Cui Zhi, the general manager of Rhein-Koester; Hu Chengman, the executive vice general manager of Rhein-Koester; and other representatives attended the signing ceremony. Mu Guangqing, the director of administration office,  conducted the ceremony.

During the signing ceremony, Rui Xiaomiao hopes the Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing College would constantly carry out educational revolution,  develop senior applied talents and supports regional economy development. He hopes the college will be developed into a demonstrative ‘Dual-system’ talents training base, as well as the demo unit of industry-education.

Prof. Eric Moskwa indicated that the both parties shall share their resources to jointly develop senior talents, as well as to explore a better pattern to enhance the cooperation between China and Germany, colleges and enterprises. 

The Dalian Polytechnic University & Rhein-Koester Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing College will develop new majors based on intelligent manufacturing engineering, and introduce ‘Dual-system practical trainings’ models from German Applied University; additionally, the both parties would carry out cooperation in faculty trainings, course development, textbooks development and talent trainings.
