On 25th of December, 2020, the opening ceremony of Shandong University of Technology & Rhein-Koester Industry-Education Research Center (hereinafter referred to as Research Center) was held in Zibo High-Tech Zone Management Committee. Lv Chuanyi, the president of Shandong University of Technology; Wei Yujiao, the head of Zibo High-Tech Zone Management Committee; Geng Qingwei, the member of High-tech zone labor committee and Discipline Committee Secretary; Chen Jing, the director of University Office of Party Committee; Zhang Zhaolu, the director of Academic Administration; Li Tao, the director of Social Service Office; Ai Xiujun, the director of Vocational Faculty Training Center; Liu Xin, the executive vice dean of Vocational Education Research Institute; Cheng Xiang, the vice dean of Mechanical Engineering College; and Cui Zhi, the general manager of Rhein-Koester attended the ceremony.

Lv Chuanyi and other representatives visited Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Public Service Platform and Rhein-Koester Inter-Enterprise Training Center, after the visiting, they highly praised the corporate development concepts of ‘Integration between Industry and Education in China and Germany’.

Wei Yujiao, the head of Zibo High-Tech Zone Management Committee, hopes both parties would implement national strategies of ‘Integration between education and industry’ based on the research center, and to further contributes resources to support local industrial transformation and upgrading, talent training, and the commercialization of scientific and research findings.

Lv Chuanyi hopes the both parties would doing the best to cooperate, and lastly supports industrial development in Shandong.
