Rhein-Koester and Heze University is jointly promoting the new major construction based on Sino-German intelligent manufacturing

To thoroughly follows instruction of ‘Opinions about integration between industry and education, issued by the state council’, and the ‘Opinions about new majors construction and engineers development plan 2.0, issued by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Chinese Academy of Engineering’; On 6th of January, 2021, the signing ceremony between Rhein-Koester and Heze University was held. Yi Yuchen, the university president; Jiang Tongsong, the dean of university; Hu Zundong, the vice dean; Prof. Eric Moskwa, the president of German Rhein-Koester Co.,Ltd; Cui Zhi, the general manager of Rhein-Koester Co.,Ltd; Liu Doghai, Chen Peng, Liu Dali, the vice general managers of Rhein-Koester attended the ceremony. Wang Wei, the director of Marketing department, conducted the ceremony.    

Mr Yi Yuchen indicated that the cooperation between Heze university and Rhein-Koester is an innovative path to accelerate the process of integration between education and industry, as well as its a meaningful decision to enhance development of each others. Based on the agreement, the both parties would further develop plans to accelerate the project landing, and construct the first Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing college. The college will integrates ‘Dual-system’ of German applied universities, and lastly enhance intelligent manufacturing industrial development in south-west of Shandong Province, as well as supports local economic development. 

Jiang Tong, the dean of Heze university indicated that the cooperation made between Rhein-Koester and Heze University is a great strategy, and it means Heze university thoroughly launched the integration between industry and education, and developed a new talents training model. Based on the ‘5 Constructions’ term in the agreement, the university would integrates ‘Dual-system’ with the original training concepts, and effectively promotes the cooperation. He hopes the both parties would continuously develop the cooperation in more fields and jointly explore more training models. 

Prof. Eric Moskwa, the president of Rhein-Koester, indicated that Rhein-Koester would truly integrates the German ‘Dual-system’ educational model and the applied trainings of China, as well as assures the landing of project. He hopes the cooperation would further enhance the economy development in whole Shandong province, and provide local enterprises with compound talents. 

Cui Zhi, the general manager of Rhein-Koester, indicated that the cooperation between Heze university and Rhein-Koester means the both parties stepped into a new stage. Rhein-Koester would thoroughly follows national strategies of ‘Integration between education and industry’, promote the connection of ‘industry – innovation – education – talent’ chains, and construct a demonstration unit of ‘New Engineering Majors’ for Shandong and China.

Based on the requirements of new major construction, and objectives for establish senior applied college, Rhein-Koester and Heze university combines the advantages of resources and regions, introduced German ‘Dual-system’ undergraduates educational model, and jointly construct ‘Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing College’, ‘Sino-German  (Heze) Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering Research Institute’, ‘Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering Technology Center’, ‘Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Public Training Base & Public Service Platform’, the both parties agreed to launch ‘Incubation Fund for Intelligent Manufacturing and Industrial Internet Innovation’, and construct the international standardized ‘New Engineering Majors in Heze’ based on  concepts of ‘Sino-German cooperation, Sharing, Application, Serve Industries’, and finally strengthen the economy development in Heze city and west of Shandong by talents and technical supports, as well as develop Heze into  a pilot city for integration between industry and education, and demonstration zone for replacing old growth drivers with new ones.
