On 23th of September, 2020, the signing ceremony between Rhein-Koester and Shandong Vocational College of Industry was held. Ma Guangting, the president of Shandong Vocational College of Industry; Zhao Hongjun, the vice president of the college; Li Zhibo, the director of School-Enterprise Cooperation and Continuing Education Center; Li Shijun, the head of the Institute of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering; Wang Enhai, the vice head of the institute; Cui Zhi, the chairman of Rhein-Koester; Chen Peng, Liu Donghai and Liu Dali,, the vice General Manager of Rhein-Koester; Lian Kaiwei, the General Manager of Rhein-Koester (Taian) Co.,Ltd. attended the ceremony. Zhao Hongjun conducted the ceremony.

Ma Guangting, the president of Shandong Vocational College of Industry,  believes that the ‘Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing International College’ will no doubtful become the world latest senior talents training base, and it will further make talents contribution to the steel industrial development and regional economy development, as well as it would serve the national strategy of ‘the Belt and Road’.

Cui Zhi, the chairman of Rhein-Koester, indicated that the trend of intelligent manufacturing has swept across the world, the talents who mastered intelligent manufacturing technologies will meet great opportunities in the future. The ‘Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing International College and Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Institute’ shall combine the regulations of each schools, integrates the advantaged resources of both schools and Rhein-Koester, and transform the origin ‘German vocational education standards’ into an innovative model which suitable for local needs. The college would develop talents based on ‘Dual-System & Three Places’ principle, construct a new ‘Dual-system’ talents training model which follows concepts of ’Sharing and Collaboration, Advanced Facilities, Practical Skills, Serve Industries’ , as well as develop senior technician teams who not only mastered intelligent manufacturing technologies, but also have internationalization view. Lastly, the college and institute will be developed into a vocational education demonstration base.
