On the afternoon of February 4, 2021, Development Research Think Tank of China（Abb.”DRTT”) held a symposium on the topic of "Research on the Innovation and Development Model of our country's Intelligent Manufacturing Vocational Education in the New Era: Taking the "Rhein-Koester Model" as an Example". The conference was held in two main venues, Beijing and Zibo, by video. Experts from DRTT and relevant national ministries and commissions, as well as representatives of the case institutions such as Shandong Rhein-Koester Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. attended the meeting.

This subject is based on the overall situation of the Party and the country, and aims to help implement the spirit of the Party Central Committee and the national strategy. Through investigation and analysis of the development status, main issues and future development trends of our country's intelligent manufacturing industry, It will systematically sort out and thoroughly study the advanced experience of Shandong Rhein-Koester and other case institutions in the innovation and development of intelligent manufacturing vocational education. And on this basis, the successful model is summarized and improved to promote the continuous in-depth development of our country's higher vocational education, and to form the "inclusive" Chinese wisdom and practical research results.

This opening meeting invited experts from relevant national ministries and commissions to participate in the meeting and conducted a discussion on the high-quality development of intelligent manufacturing vocational education. The experts at the meeting believed that the "Rhein-Koester Model" has important reference significance for studying the innovative development model of intelligent manufacturing vocational education in our country in the new era.
