On October 10, 2018, the signing ceremony of the Weifang Intelligent Manufacturing (Germany) Technology Transfer Center and the opening ceremony of the public training base were grandly held at Rhein-koester (Germany) Intelligent Manufacturing Research Institute in Munich, Bayern, Germany.
Liu Shuguang, Secretary of the Weifang Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress; Counsellor Wang Weidong, Minister of Economic and Commercial Counsellor's Office of the Chinese Embassy in Germany; Song Lijun, Deputy Secretary-General of Weifang Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Municipal Party Committee Office; Wang Hao, Deputy Secretary-General of Weifang Municipal Government, Director of the Municipal Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, and Director of the Municipal Cooperation and Development Promotion Bureau; Eric Moskwa, Chairman of German Rhein-Koester Co.,Ltd. and director of Steinbeis Intelligent Manufacturing Transfer Center; Klaus Diech Ulrich, professor at the University of Applied Technology in Hesse, Germany; Daniel, Dean of the Hochschule Kempten College in Bayern, Germany; Matthew Ward, engine hybrid system expert at Continental AG; Maskinda, Project Director of the Sino-German Industrial Design Innovation Center in Munich, Germany; Cerke Demis, Chief Technology Officer of German Saima Data Security, attended the ceremony. Other attendees involves representatives of relevant German companies and institutions, and the principals of some departments and key enterprises in Weifang. Gao Zhixiu, deputy secretary of the Kuiwen District Committee of Weifang City, and the mayor presided over the ceremony and made a speech.
