On May 13, the Beijing Sino-German Industry Cooperation
Development Forum—China-Germany (China-Europe)
Hidden Champions Forum 2024 opened at Beijing China-Germany International
Conference and Exhibition Center in Shunyi District. Nearly 400 domestic and
international government representatives, experts, industry leaders, corporate
executives, investors, and media representatives gathered to discuss economic
and technological hot topics, explore development ideas, and share innovations
and experiences, collectively writing a new chapter in Sino-German
(China-Europe) economic and technological cooperation.
During the forum, the International Academy (Beijing) at
Paderborn University was inaugurated. The campus will primarily focus on
international preparatory education, dual-mode direct employment pathways for
high school graduates studying in Germany, international preparatory education,
services for domestic students going to Germany, joint applications for
bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees from renowned German institutions,
and bilateral international exchanges between Chinese and German university
faculty and students.
In the “First Show” key exhibition area for
Sino-German (European) cooperation, Rhein Köster showcased its application
cases in new-generation information technologies such as the Industrial
Internet of Things and digital twins, as well as its Sino-German collaborative
innovation-based intelligent manufacturing industry-education integration service
system. The exhibition attracted numerous representatives from the domestic and
international political and business sectors and leaders of hidden champion
enterprises for exchanges.
