On 17th of November, 2021, the inauguration of the China Vocational Education Association of Zibo and the 1st congress was held in conference center of Zibo Qisheng International Hotel. Guo Ailing, the former deputy president of Shandong PPCC (People’s Political Consultative Conference) and director of provincial CVEA (China Vocational Education Association), Wang Tiejun, the head of Zibo Organization Department, Wang Huaibin, the deputy president of Zibo Political Consultative Conference and head of Revolution Committee, Ma Jing, the president of municipal federal association of industry and commerce, Zhao Chenguang, the vice president of United Front Work Department of municipal Party committee and director of municipal overseas Chinese affairs office, Shen Dianjun, the vice president of United Front Work Department of municipal Party committee, Li Zhengsheng, the member of party committee of Zibo education burea, Zhang Shouwei, the deputy president of Zibo HR&Social Security; other representatives from organization departments, United Front Work Department in districts, and colleges participated in the conference. Zhao Chenguang, the vice president of United Front Work Department of municipal Party committee and director of municipal overseas Chinese affairs office, conducted the conference.
Guo Ailing, the former deputy president of Shandong PPCC and director of provincial CVEA, fully affirmed Zibo’s achievements in vocational education in her speech. She pointed out that the China Vocational Education Association is a bridge and link for the party and the government to unite and connect with relevant people in the vocational education circles at home and abroad. It is necessary to fully understand the importance of doing well in the work of vocational education association in the new era, persist in focusing on the central task and serve the overall interests, make the most of the advantages, actively offer advice and suggestion, implement ‘Heart-warming’ project, expand mutual contacts, strengthen self-building, provide strong supports for development of vocational education and overall development in social and economic.
Wang Tiejun, the head of Zibo Organization Department, pointed out that the association shall adhere to ‘Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era’ as the guidance, strengthen the political guidance, cohesive ideological consensus, pay attention on the development direction of the association; The association must rely on its characteristics and advantages, serve the overall interests of the center, and promote the work of vocational education association to create a new breakthrough; it must keep in mind the heart of the century, consolidate the organizational foundation, improve the level of performance, and promote the quality and efficiency of the work of vocational education association.
Wang Huaibin, the deputy president of Zibo Political Consultative Conference and head of Revolution Committee, congratulated the establishment of China Vocational Education Association of Zibo, He hoped that the association, would take this founding meeting as a starting point, adhere to ‘Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era’ as the guidance, keep in mind the historical mission and political responsibilities, always uphold the ideals and beliefs of serving the country for the people, and contribute wisdom to promote vocational education research, serve vocational education practice, strengthen vocational education publicity, and cultivate vocational education talents.
Ma Jing, the president of municipal federal association of industry and commerce, said in the speech that China Vocational Education Association of Zibo will continue to carry forward its fine traditions, strengthen its own construction, improve abilities to perform duties, and comprehensively enhance the sense of mission in vocational education and sense of responsibility. It will consolidate the organizational foundation, and make greater contributions to the progress of vocational education in Zibo, as well as to promote the innovation and development of vocational education in the city and the whole country.
In the meeting, Shen Dianjun, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the Zibo Municipal Party Committee, made a report on the ‘Preparation works for the establishment of China Vocational Education Association of Zibo’ and an explanation of personnel arrangements. The meeting voted and passed the ‘Methods for Election of the First Social Affairs Committee of China Vocational Education Association of Zibo (Draft)’, and elected 1 director, 9 deputy directors, 2 secretary-generals, and 16 members of social affairs committee. Ma Jing, the president of municipal federal association of industry and commerce, was elected as the director of the first social affairs committee of China Vocational Education of Zibo, Cui Zhi, the chairman of Rhein-Koester was elected as the Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the First Social Affairs Committee.
