On April 9, 2024, Ji Hong, member of the party group and
deputy director of the Standing Committee of Xiangyang Municipal People’s
Congress of Hubei Province, chairman of the Municipal Federation of Trade
Unions, head of the Municipal Electronics and Information Industry Chain, Zhang
Zhuqing, member of the Standing Committee of Xiangyang Municipal People’s
Congress and head of the Social Construction Committee, and Qin Mingqiang,
vice-chairman of the Trade Union of Xiangyang High-tech Investment Promotion and
International Cooperation Company Limited, and other members of their team
visited and investigated Rhein Köster.
During the discussion, Deputy Director Ji Hong introduced
Xiangyang’s history, culture, industrial advantages and relevant policies. She
hoped to give full play to the platform and resource advantages of the
Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Industry and Education Integration
Demonstration Base as well as Rhein Köster’ rich
experience in the operation and service of industry and education integration,
and to combine Xiangyang’s advantages of geographic location and strong
industrial foundation to carry out practical cooperation as soon as possible in
accordance with the requirements of the development of new productive forces
and to enhance the supply capacity of talents, technology and innovation in
Xiangyang to help the digital transformation and intelligent upgrading of
industries. The cooperation will enhance Xiangyang’s talent, technology, and
innovation supply capacity, and assist in the digital transformation and
intelligent upgrading of industries.
