On August 18, 2023, the three-day EducationPlus
2023, the 7th China (Changsha) International Vocational Education Conference
and Industry-Education Integration Expo, came to a successful conclusion at the
Hunan International Convention and Exhibition Center.
During the opening ceremony, Rhein Koester, along
with multiple partners including Hubei Engineering Vocational College, Hubei
Industrial Vocational and Technical College, Hunan Science and Technology
Vocational College, Hunan Railway Science and Technology Vocational College,
and Yantai Institute of Technology, jointly signed collaboration agreements.
These agreements lay a solid foundation for future cooperation between
educational institutions and enterprises in areas such as deep integration of
industry and education, collaborative student development, engineering talent
cultivation, faculty training, and infrastructure establishment.
Experts from both China and Germany at the event
delved into topics related to China’s distinctive modern vocational education
system. The discussions focused on intelligent manufacturing, the drive of new
technologies, achievements in industry-education integration, as well as the
internationalization and localization of vocational education. These
discussions fostered the sharing of research and insights in the field of
vocational education.
