Signing and unveiling ceremony of the China University of Petroleum (East China) – Rhein Koester Teaching Internship Base held at Rhein Koester’s Qingdao company

On the morning of June 8, 2023, the signing and
unveiling ceremony of the China University of Petroleum (East China) and Rhein
Koester Intelligent Technology (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. Teaching Internship Base was
held grandly at Rhein Koester’s Qingdao company. Huang Shanbo, Deputy Director
of the Academic Affairs Office of China University of Petroleum (East China),
Guo Jie, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of New Energy,
Zhang Zhihua, Associate Dean of the School of New Energy, Liu Hong, General
Manager of Rhein Koester Qingdao, Jin Yueyun, Minister of the Ministry of
Education, and other leaders from the university and enterprise attended the
event.

During the discussion, Deputy Director Huang Shanbo
stated that the establishment of the teaching internship base is an important
outcome of the strategic cooperation between the two parties. The establishment
of the teaching internship base will facilitate complementary advantages and
resource sharing between the two sides, and it will also achieve mutual
benefits and win-win outcomes for talent cultivation, professional development,
and enterprise growth. He proposed that both sides should continue to
strengthen Sino-German educational cooperation, improve the quality of
professional development, further improve the management system and mechanism,
create a new model of industry-education integration, and build a new pattern
of school-enterprise cooperation and development.

  General
Manager Liu Hong mentioned that Rhein Koester has been committed to gathering
high-quality resources from China and Germany for many years, and has
continuously provided a full industry chain service system for Chinese
universities and enterprises. The joint establishment of the “Teaching and
Practice Base” marks a brand new stage of cooperation between the two
sides. In the next step, the two sides should make full use of and synergise
their respective quality advantages, closely dock with the intelligent
manufacturing industry chain, build a resource service platform for
collaborative innovation and deep integration between industry, university and
research, jointly explore new modes of innovative talent training, cultivate
more high-quality technical skills application talents to adapt to the
development of society, and contribute their strengths to the transformation
and development of regional industries and economic and social needs.
