On the morning of September 8, 2023, the “Excellent
Engineer” Innovation Skills Training Program at China University of
Petroleum (East China) successfully concluded. Leaders from the Department of
Electrical Engineering at the College of New Energy, China University of
Petroleum (East China), including Professor Ma Wenzhong, the head of the
department, and Associate Professor Dong Lei, as well as Ms. Liu Hong, Vice
General Manager of Rhein Koester, attended the graduation ceremony.
In her speech, Ms. Liu Hong, Vice General Manager of Rhein
Koester, gave full recognition to the achievements of this training
program.
Speaking on behalf of the outstanding students of China
University of Petroleum, student representative Wang Yuxin expressed that
through this period of study, students had the opportunity to work with
equipment not typically encountered at school. This experience helped cultivate
practical skills, enabling them to truly “learn from practice and apply
what they have learned.”
Associate Professor Dong Lei, Vice Head of the Department of
Electrical Engineering at the School of New Energy of China University of
Petroleum (East China), believed that through this training, students’
comprehensive abilities had been exercised and improved. It bridged various
aspects of intelligent manufacturing, enabling students to learn and train
throughout the entire product lifecycle, from product design and debugging to
delivery and acceptance.
