On May 26, 2023, the strategic cooperation signing
ceremony and the unveiling ceremony of the faculty training base were held at
the Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Integration Demonstration Base, with
the participation of Yantai Shipbuilding Industry School, Rhein Koester, and
the Bavarian Institute of Education and Digitization in Germany. Chen Shaohua,
the Party Secretary and President of Yantai Shipbuilding Industry School, Vice
President Tang Yuzhu, Eric Moskwa, President of Rhein Koester, Pro.Dr.Lothar
Budde, Chairman of the Board of the Bavarian Institute of Education and
Digitization, Cui Zhi, Chairman of Rhein Koester, and other school-enterprise
leaders attended the event, including Chen Peng, Deputy General Manager, and
Liu Donghai.

strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties.

The three parties signing the agreement will fully
leverage their influence in the fields of education and industry. Taking the
integration of industry and education as the main path, and the construction of
industry academies as an important carrier, they will strengthen cooperation in
enhancing the comprehensive quality of faculty, teaching level, professional
competence, and other aspects. They will actively explore and practice new
models of industry-education integration and collaborative education, jointly
foster new mechanisms and environments for the rapid growth of high-quality
skilled talents in the intelligent manufacturing industry, collaborate in
building collaborative innovation centers and research teams, and simultaneously
enhance teachers’ research capabilities and their involvement in enterprise
technological research and development. The aim is to enhance the ability to
cultivate high-end skilled talents and innovative professionals in intelligent
manufacturing, as well as the ability to serve society, making due
contributions to the high-quality development of vocational education and
regional economy.
