Wuhan University of Technology collaborates with Rheingold to jointly establish the Sino German Collaborative Innovation Center for Outstanding Engineers in Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Manufacturing

On March 27, on the occasion of the appointment of Cherry Blossom in Jiangcheng, in order to thoroughly implement the integrated development strategy of national science and technology power, education power and talent power, deepen the collaborative education mechanism of industry and education integration, explore a new paradigm for the cultivation of outstanding engineers in the new era, the “Promotion Meeting for the Cultivation of Industry and Education Integration of National Outstanding Engineer Colleges” was held in Junshan Campus of Wuhan University of Technology on the bank of the Yangtze River.

On site, 12 units including iFlytek Co., Ltd. and Rheingold Technology Co., Ltd. became the second batch of council units of the college. Five leading enterprises in the industry signed the first batch of cooperation agreements for the joint construction of engineering technology centers between schools and enterprises. The first batch of eight joint laboratories between schools and enterprises were awarded licenses, covering fields such as intelligent connected vehicles, new energy, and new materials. The first batch of characteristic courses and practical textbooks jointly developed by schools and enterprises were simultaneously released.

The National Excellent Engineering College of Wuhan University of Technology is based on the economic development and industrial transformation and upgrading needs of Wuhan Economic Development Zone, focusing on strategic emerging industries such as artificial intelligence and intelligent connected vehicles, intelligent transportation, advanced manufacturing and high-end equipment. With the concept of “enterprise demand driven, project task driven, and multi-party collaborative education”, it is committed to cultivating an excellent engineering team with engineering innovation ability, international vision and industry leadership, and cultivating a group of outstanding engineers who are good at discovering and solving complex engineering and technical problems, rooted in engineering practice and production lines.
