On August 23, 2022, Zhang Zhihai, Deputy Secretary-General of Weifang Municipal Government and Director of Research Office, led a team to Zibo and study the advanced experience and practices of industrial transformation. On the afternoon of the same day, the delegation visited the Siemens-Rhein-Koester Sino-German Industrial Internet of Things R&D and Manufacturing Base (Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Industry-Education Integrated Demonstration Base).

Deputy Secretary-General Zhang Zhihai fully affirmed the Sino-German  integration mode of industry and education, which focuses on the digital transformation of the enabling industry, focuses on the integrated development of digital economy and intelligent manufacturing, and builds “industrial chain — innovation chain — education chain — talent chain” and “four chains connected”.
