From August 20 to 27, the 2025 International Study Tour organized by Rhein-Koester for the National College of Outstanding Engineers at Wuhan University of Technology was successfully completed in Germany.
The study tour team’s first stop was Berlin Media University, where students engaged in specialized learning sessions on two key themes: “Germany’s Education System in the Digital Age” and “Current Status and Trends of Germany’s Industry 4.0.” The curriculum spanned macro-level systems to industrial specifics, from technological evolution to education, helping faculty and students develop a systematic understanding of the deep integration between Germany’s smart manufacturing and education systems.
At the University of Paderborn, the team engaged in in-depth discussions with university representatives on topics including engineering discipline development and industry-academia-research collaboration.
Students visited the Binzler Group and KION Group in succession, experiencing firsthand the German manufacturing companies’ relentless pursuit of quality, automation, and digitalization.
