Recently, the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice on the first batch of Shandong Province Enterprise Technology Innovation Project Plan for 2025. The “Portable Welding Robot Intelligent Control System” project independently developed by Rheinkoester has been successfully selected.
It is understood that the Shandong Province Technology Innovation Project focuses on the breakthrough of major core technologies, industrial common technologies, market-oriented new technologies, new products, and new processes that fill domestic gaps by enterprises. It plays an important role in stimulating the innovation awareness of enterprises, accelerating the transformation of technological innovation achievements, cultivating key technologies and products with independent intellectual property rights, enhancing the independent innovation capability of enterprises, and improving core competitiveness.
This system takes collaborative robots as the main working body, and is equipped with industrial welding power supplies, mobile welding trolleys, and a concise and easy-to-use operating system to achieve simplification, modularization, and standardization of welding. It is suitable for welding operations of various non-standard parts, as well as welding operations under a variety of different working conditions in shipbuilding, bridge construction, and construction-related industries, and welding operations of various professional or non-standard equipment and installations in heavy machinery and chemical enterprises. It is simple, practical, flexible, and efficient. The inclusion of this project in the provincial plan is not only a high recognition of Rheinkoester’s R&D strength and innovation capability, but also a new starting point to encourage the company to move towards higher goals.
