On September 15, 2022, Li Wei, director of the Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal People’s Congress, Ding Yong, director of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce and other leaders of the Municipal Committee visited the Rhein-Koester China Operation Headquarters in Shunyi Sino-German Industrial Park for research.
During the research, Director Li Wei said that the Beijing Sino-German Industrial Park in Shunyi District is the first national-level German cooperation park with the theme of “economic and technical cooperation” in China, focusing on the three leading industries of new energy intelligent vehicles, intelligent equipment and industrial Internet, and positioning itself as a model highland for Sino-German economic and technical cooperation in the new era. Rhein-Koester’s development orientation of “industry enables education – education cultivates talents – talents support industry” and its cooperation with key industries and universities such as Siemens, the AHK, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, System Technology and Image Processing Institute, the German Steinbeis Technology Transfer Center, and the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences, which are highly compatible with the development concept of intelligent manufacturing industries in Shunyi district. At the same time, Beijing, as a demonstration city of industry-education integration, absorbs and integrates the advantageous resources of various industries from the government, colleges and universities as well as enterprises at multiple levels to build a special industry-education integration talent training platform, public service platform for industry digitization, demonstration platform for industry-education integration and industrial Internet industrial highland, promoting digital transformation of manufacturing industries and digital upgrading of industries in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei regions.
