On 15th of July, 2022, Sino-German Advanced Vocational Education
Cooperation Project (SGAVE project) new phase cooperation launching conference
was successfully held in the form of a video conference. Leaders from
International Department,  Vocational and
Adult Education Department of the Ministry of Education, representatives of project pilot colleges and representatives of some
famous enterprises participated the conference. Fang Jun, the vice director of
International Department of Education Ministry delivered a speech and put
forward clear requirements for cooperation projects. Representatives of
Shandong, Inner Mongolia and Chongqing delivered speech, respectively.


Lei Xinghui, the vice president of Tongji University delivered a
welcome speech, expressing warm welcome and greetings to the leaders and
experts present at the meeting


Fang Jun made an important speech and put forward four expectations for
the implementation of the project: the project colleges shall coordinate the
school resources and formulate long-term plans for project development;
participating enterprises shall invest various resources in accordance with the
cooperation plan to achieve mutual benefit, the provincial education
administrative departments shall strongly support the development of the
project; the secretariat shall gives full play to the role of communication and
coordination.

Provincial Education Department, Zhang Xirong, the education inspectorate of
Inner Mongolia  Education
Department, Ren Jinling, the vice director of Chongqing Municipal Education
Committee made speeches respectively.

Prof. Eric Moskwa, the president of German Rhein-Koester Group,
delivered a speech as a representative of the SGAVE project partner companies.

The Sino-German Advanced Vocational Education Cooperation Project draws
on the technology and experience reserves of leading enterprises in Germany and
other European countries to carry out ‘Dual-system’ talent training, focuses on
relevant majors in key fields such as automobiles, intelligent manufacturing,
and new-generation information technology, and selects pilot colleges and
universities. In accordance with the requirements of the ‘Dual-system’ model,
jointly develop and implement technical and skilled personnel training programs
adapted to domestic conditions, continuously improve the level of
industry-education integration, school-enterprise cooperation and international
exchanges in vocational colleges, create high-quality technical and skilled
personnel training international cooperation projects, and lay a talent
foundation for the transformation and upgrading of domestic manufacturing industry
and high-quality development.


As one of the SGAVE project cooperating partners, Rhein-Koester is
responsible in course system development of Mechatronics Technologies and
Industrial Robot Technologies, and college service providing. Rhein-Koester
will give full play to the advantages of international resources and the
localized practical experience of the German dual system vocational education
model. In terms of exchanges and cooperation, the SGAVE project pilot colleges
and universities will be given sufficient resource support to jointly build a
training system for skilled personnel, and work with the pilot colleges to
fully promote the high-quality implementation of Sino-German advanced
vocational education cooperation projects in pilot colleges and universities,
and provide skilled personnel support for serving economic development. .
