On 27th of September, 2021, the MIIT officially announced the ‘2021th New Generation Information Technology and Manufacturing Integrated Development Pilot Demonstration List’, Rhein-Koester Sino-German Cooperation project — Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Public Service Platform was successfully shortlisted.
The construction of ‘Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Public Service Platform’ is a practical measure taken by Rhein-Koester to implement the national strategy of Industry-Education integration. Since its establishment in 2014, the platform has launched advanced manufacturing, special intelligent manufacturing technology application, intelligent manufacturing system integration, intelligent manufacturing capacity enhancement and certification, digital promotion demonstration, industrial Internet technology innovation, industry solution services, intelligent manufacturing, mass innovation of digital economy and other German standardized technological R&D, practical training and function centers. The platform participate in the application-oriented talents training under German ‘Dual-system’ model, additionally provides enterprises in Zibo and Shandong province with German standardized services in intelligent manufacturing, automation technology consulting and technical services, which provide new energy for the industrial transformation and upgrading of regional economic and social development in Shandong province.
In recent days, the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council issued ‘Opinions on Promoting the High-quality Development of Modern Vocational Education’. The document pointed out that it is necessary to develop diversified educational structure, and encourage listed corporations and leading enterprises in the industry to launch vocational education services, and encourage all kinds of enterprises to participate in the holding of vocational education, encourage vocational schools to cooperate with social capital to build vocational education infrastructure, training bases, and jointly build sharing public practical training base. The Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Public Service Platform is approved by the Ministry of Education’s and it is recognized as an intelligent manufacturing Dual-teacher training base, a national public service demonstration platform for small and medium-sized enterprises in the machinery industry, and a public training base for the ‘Transition to new from old economic engines’ in Shandong Province. The Rhein-Koester is a group which has strong competences in independent R&D and collaborative innovation, the group integrates advanced resources from Siemens, SAP, EPLAN, Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, Steinbeis Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Transfer Center, Fachhochschule Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences, Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences and many well-known institutions, which supports Rhein-Koester developing first-class trainers team and talent development plan, it also formed strong capacities in digital, industrial service of industrial internet and technology transfer. Lastly, it make positive contributions to promoting the high-quality development of modern vocational education.
At present, the construction and operation model of Sino-German intelligent manufacturing technology public service platform, has been promoted and copied in wide regions of the mainland China, which involves platforms in Beijing, Qingdao, Zibo, Weifang, Taicang, Zhuzhou, Changzhou, Taicang, Shenyang etc. The platform covers three major areas of ‘new-generation information technology’, ‘intelligent manufacturing education and training services’, and ‘public services for the integration of industry and education’, and actively builds ‘Intelligent Manufacturing Industry-education platform for Digital Transformation of Education’, ‘Technical Public Service Platform for Digital Economy and Intelligent Manufacturing Industry’, and ‘Emerging Industry Innovation and Regional Economic Innovation Public Service Incubation Platform’, and develop three innovative ecosystems of ‘Digital Economy, Intelligent Manufacturing, Integration between Industry and Education’, as well as establish supports for ‘digital economy innovation acceleration, multi-level talent training, and digital industry services’ to cultivate more high-quality technical and skilled talents, skilled craftsmen, and provide powerful talents supports for the deep integration of industry and education and the high-quality development of the regional economy.
The Sino-German intelligent manufacturing technology public service platform is shortlisted as 2021th MIIT New Generation of Information Technology-Manufacturing Development Pilot and Demonstration Unit, it affirmed the achievements made by Rhein-Koester in fields of digital economy, intelligent manufacturing, industrial internet, innovated talent training platform, industrial digital public service platform, industry-education demonstration platform and industrial internet highland. Rhein-Koester will continue to implement the national strategy of integration between industry and education, promote industrial upgrading and digital transformation, the company will be developed and driven by the industry-education circular developmental ecology of ‘Industry supports education – Education develop talents – Talents supports industry’ , and make high-quality talent development happen in fields of new generation information technology and intelligent manufacturing.
