16, 2023, Zibo City Political Consultative Conference “improve vocational
education and training system, to create ‘production and education fusion,
school-city fusion’ Zibo model” forum held in the Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing
Industry and Education Fusion Demonstration Base. The symposium is led by the
Committee of Education, Health and Sports, and takes the way of jointly
carrying out with the Democratic Progressive Zibo Municipal Committee, the
Municipal Bureau of Education and other relevant departments in a coordinated
manner. Ray Ray, Vice Chairman of Zibo CPPCC and Chairman of DPC Zibo Municipal
Committee, Wang Changchun, Deputy Secretary General of CPPCC and first grade
researcher of CPPCC, Wei Xiaoguang, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC and
Director of CPPCC’s Committee of Education, Science, Health and Sports, Li
Xiaotong, Deputy Secretary of Municipal Education Working Committee and member
of CPC group of Municipal Education Bureau, Wang Legislation, Third Grade
Researcher of Municipal Development and Reform Committee, Wang Yongzheng, Third
Grade Researcher of Municipal Industry and Information Bureau, Sun Longzhou,
Chief of Municipal Education Bureau, Zheng Chuanlan, First Grade Researcher of
Municipal Technology Bureau and other relevant departments. Zheng Chuanlan,
director of the Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, as well as Zibo
Vocational College, Shandong Light Industry Vocational College and other
relevant vocational colleges and enterprises were present at the symposium. Yan
Yongjia, Administrative Director of Rhein Küsters, and Wang Honglei, Director of
Innovative Projects, attended the seminar.

Chairman Zhuo Shuping expressed during the discussion that vocational education
in Zibo City has supported the development of the four pillar industries and
the social economy. Vocational colleges and Rhein Koester have provided
excellent platforms for teacher training and student internships through the
construction of training facilities and innovation platforms. She expressed her
hope that the attending leaders would closely follow the situation, seize
opportunities, support vocational education, provide feedback through different
channels and forms with good suggestions, opinions, ideas, and measures,
continuously improve the vocational education and training system, promote
school-enterprise cooperation in the integration of production and education,
jointly advance vocational education to a higher level, and cultivate
high-quality skilled talents for the industry and industrial development,
creating a new model of integration between production, education, and the city
in Zibo.

Industry, Li Bin, Secretary and Principal of Zibo Electromechanical Engineering
School, Feng Bo, Vice Principal of Zibo Industrial School, Li Ning, Recruitment
Manager of Shandong Yino Wei Polyurethane Co., Ltd., and other participants,
shared their views on “improving the vocational education and training system
and creating a model of ‘integration of production, education, and the city’ in
Zibo” based on their respective institutions and companies.
In
his speech, Wang Honglei, Director of Innovation Projects at Rhein Koester,
discussed the company’s understanding of the integration of production and
education, using Rhein Koester as an example. He mentioned that Germany’s
cross-company training centers have been operating for over a hundred years and
have close ties with industry associations. Rhein Koester’ platform model draws
on the experience of Germany’s cross-company training centers, starting with
the construction of industrial-educational integration parks, where platforms,
models, talent supply, and technical services are important components of the
entire park. He expressed his hope that this discussion would serve as an
opportunity to fully draw on German standards, achieve coordination and
participation from government departments, industries, universities, and
enterprises, jointly promote inter-school cooperation among vocational colleges
in the city, actively support the high-quality development of middle and high
vocational education in Zibo, solidly promote the “enterprise trainer system”
or “integration of production and education trainer system,” and contribute to
the cultivation of more enterprise trainers in companies with
production-education integration, making contributions to the national
integration of production and education.
