The China International Trade Fair for Trade in Services, co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Beijing Municipal People’s Government, opened in Beijing on September 12. The theme of the event is “Global Service, Mutual Sharing”, with 85 countries and international organizations hosting exhibitions and 450 of the world’s top 500 and industry leaders exhibiting. This year’s service trade fair is still held in the online and offline combination of “one session two halls” (i.e., the National Convention Center and Shougang Park).

From September 4th to 6th 2024, 232 students majoring in vehicle engineering from Shandong University of Technology visited the Sino-German intelligent manufacturing integration demonstration base.

On September 6, 2024, the two-week practical training in the production of measurement and control technology and instrument of Shandong University of Technology successfully concluded at the Sino-German intelligent manufacturing integration demonstration base. This training not only provides 181 students with the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world production environments, but also gives them insight into the latest technologies and industry trends in smart manufacturing.

On the afternoon of September 5, 2024, the fourth plenary meeting of the first social affairs committee of Zibo VTC was held at the Sino-German intelligent manufacturing industry-teaching fusion demonstration base. Ma Jing, vice chairman of Zibo Municipal Association, chairman of the Civil Construction Municipal Committee and director of the Chinese VTC, attended the meeting and spoke.

On the morning of September 2, the opening ceremony of the “Excellent Engineer” innovation skills training class of China National Petroleum University (East China) was held in Rhenkost Intelligent Technology (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. Professor Lu Yang of the School of Control Science and Engineering of China National Petroleum University (East China) and Jin Yueyun, Minister of Education of Rhenkost Qingdao Company attended the event.

On August 16, 2024, the Shandong Jincheng Pharmaceutical Group Automation Programming Skills Competition was held at the Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Integration Demonstration Base. A total of 20 contestants competed, demonstrating their exceptional technical skills and commitment to excellence.

From July 29 to August 16, 2024, the Rhein Koester Sino-German Class Summer Faculty Training successfully concluded at the Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Integration Demonstration Base. The three-week training program saw the participation of over 70 specialized teachers from eight vocational institutions across the country.
