On September 26-28, the 2023 Welcome Ceremony for Self employment Retired Soldiers in Zibo High tech Zone and the Full Staff Adaptability Training Course were held at the Sino German Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Education Integration Demonstration Base. This training was organized by the Retired Soldiers Affairs Office of Zibo High tech Zone and organized by Rhinecost, with nearly 60 retired soldiers participating in the study.

On September 27, 2023, Zibo City Bureau of Industry and Information Technology organized the city’s competent departments of industry and information technology, key enterprises, industrial design centers, design institutions and representatives of colleges and universities in Zibo to the Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Industry-Education Integration Demonstration Base to observe the final works of the fourth “Qilu Cup” Industrial Design Competition and visit the construction of the base.

On September 27, 2023, the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation between Yantai Institute of Technology and Rhein Koester was held in Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Industry-Education Integration Demonstration Base. Su Chunjing, Vice President of Yantai Institute of Technology, Chen Peng, Deputy General Manager of Rhein Koester, Liu Dali, President of Vocational Education Industry Research Institute, and other school and enterprise leaders attended the ceremony.

On September 22, 2023, during the Tai’an City Vocational Education Teaching Achievement Evaluation event, Tai’an Rhein Koester Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. achieved remarkable results and was awarded the title of “Outstanding Enterprise in School-Enterprise Cooperation in Tai’an City’s Vocational Education Teaching.”

On September 20, 2023, the inaugural Zibo Talent Festival was grandly opened. In the afternoon of the same day, the press conference for the Zibo Smart Manufacturing Talent Bank was held at the Sino-German Smart Manufacturing Industry-Education Integration Demonstration Base. This event was hosted by the Zibo Municipal Education Bureau, Zibo Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau, and Zibo Daily, with Shandong University of Technology and Rhein Koester as the organizers.

Recently, the Shandong University of Science and Technology and Rhein Koester Joint Internship and Training Program for Excellent Engineer Development in the field of Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing was held at the demonstration base for the integration of industry and education. The training, which lasted for six weeks, involved nearly 50 students majoring in Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation from the 2020 cohort of Shandong University of Science and Technology.

On the morning of 18th September 2023, more than 60 teachers and students from the third and fourth years of Qingdao Huanghai University, majoring in Intelligent Manufacturing, came to Rhein Koester Qingdao for a study tour.

Recently, the Zibo Municipal Association for Science and Technology announced the list of “2023-2025 Zibo Science Popularization Education Bases.” The Sino-German Smart Manufacturing Industry-Education Integration Demonstration Base, operated and constructed by Rhein Koester, has been recognized as a Zibo Science Popularization Education Base.
