On August 26th and 27th, a special training session on comprehensive deepening reforms was held at the Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Industry-Education Integration Demonstration Base in Zibo City. The training was attended by liaison officers from the Special Working Groups of the Municipal Party Committee for Comprehensive Deepening Reforms, officials responsible for reforms from relevant municipal departments, deputy directors of the county (district) party committees’ reform offices, and officials in charge of reforms in various towns (townships) and streets.

​​On August 25, 2023, the third phase of the Sino-German Advanced Vocational Education Cooperation Project (SGAVE) in the field of smart manufacturing successfully concluded its teacher training program! As one of the collaborating companies in the SGAVE project, Rhein Koester, in three different locations – Zibo, Changzhou, and Qingdao, had fruitful three-week sessions with all the participating teachers. The training program brought together more than 210 participating teachers from 25 initial pilot colleges in the SGAVE project, including Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational And Technical University, Suzhou Jianxiong College, Hubei Vocational-Technical College of Science and Technology, Wuhan Vocational College of Software and Engineering, Wenzhou Polytechnic, Jinan Vocational College, Harbin Vocational and Technical College, and others.

On August 18, 2023, the summer faculty training for the Industrial Robotics Project at Anhui Lu’an Technician College concluded successfully at the Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Industry-Education Integration Demonstration Base. Following a comprehensive week-long program of systematic learning, over ten dedicated teachers specializing in relevant fields from Anhui Lu’an Technician College satisfactorily completed their training tasks and successfully graduated.

On August 18, 2023, the three-day EducationPlus 2023, the 7th China (Changsha) International Vocational Education Conference and Industry-Education Integration Expo, came to a successful conclusion at the Hunan International Convention and Exhibition Center.

Recently, the 2023 Shandong Top 100 Private Enterprises series ranking event was held in Dezhou. During the event, various lists were unveiled, including the “2023 Shandong Top 100 Private Enterprises,” “Top 100 Innovators,” “Top 100 Innovative Potentials,” and “Top 100 Job Creators” lists. Leveraging its innovative practices in areas such as smart manufacturing, industrial Internet of Things, and digitalization, Rhein Koester has successfully secured a place in the “2023 Shandong Top 100 Private Enterprises with Innovative Potential” list.

From July 10th to August 11th, 2023, Rhein Koester Group organized a four-week “Learn and Explore, Enrich with Travel” summer study camp.

On August 8, 2023, a delegation led by Mr. Fu Shuguang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Zibo Technical College, visited Rhein Koester.

On August 4, 2023, the concluding ceremony of the third phase of the Sino-German Advanced Vocational Education Cooperation Project (SGAVE) in the field of intelligent manufacturing took place at the Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Industry-Education Integration Demonstration Base. This phase featured a dual-system teaching method course focused on pedagogical techniques for smart manufacturing. Approximately 40 educators from 12 institutions including the Rhein Koester Vocational Education Industry Research Institute, Shanghai Overseas Vocational and Technical University, Fujian Electric Power Vocational and Technical College, Hubei University of Science and Technology Vocational College, and Zibo Vocational College participated in the event.
