On May 15, 2024, Zibo Middle School organized over 180 students from grades seven through nine to visit the Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Industry-Education Integration Demonstration Base for a science and technology study activity.

On May 13, the Beijing Sino-German Industry Cooperation Development Forum—China-Germany (China-Europe) Hidden Champions Forum 2024 opened at Beijing China-Germany International Conference and Exhibition Center in Shunyi District. Nearly 400 domestic and international government representatives, experts, industry leaders, corporate executives, investors, and media representatives gathered to discuss economic and technological hot topics, explore development ideas, and share innovations and experiences, collectively writing a new chapter in Sino-German (China-Europe) economic and technological cooperation.

The delegation visited various areas, including the Sino-German Digital Economy and Intelligent Manufacturing Empowerment Center established by Rhein Köster at the demonstration base. They listened to reports on the company’s basic situation and experience in promoting the construction of supporting systems for industrial and supply chains and promoting consumption. The delegation was deeply impressed by Rhein Köster’s full-chain ecological development concept of “industry empowering education – education cultivating talent – talent supporting industry” and the effective linkage of the “industrial chain – innovation chain – education chain – talent chain” industrial layout.

On 14th May, 2024, a group of 8 people from Angren County, Shigatse City, Tibet went to Zibo to carry out learning and exchange activities. In the morning of that day, the exchange group visited Rhein Köster. Bi Baofeng, secretary of the party group and director of Zibo Veterans Affairs Bureau, Li Yong, member of the party group and deputy director, Lv Jueqiang, member of the working committee of Zibo Hi-Tech Zone, minister of the mass work department and minister of the People’s Armed Forces Department, and Jiang Xinyan, deputy minister of the People’s Armed Forces Department of Zibo High-Tech Zone, accompanied the research and other leaders.

On the afternoon of 6 May 2024, Dong Cheng, Chair Professor of Cellular Engineering and Immunomedicine, Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Han Xiaorong, Professor and Head of the Department of Chinese History and Culture, Xiao Honggen, Assistant Dean and Professor of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, and Zheng Pei, Associate Professor of the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, and other members of their team visited Rhein Köster to conduct a research trip. Xiong Xin, secretary of the party group and director of Zibo Science and Technology Bureau, Qu Wenyue, member of the party group and deputy director, second grade researcher, Chai Fuqiang, member of the party group and deputy director, and Zhao Naijun, director of Science and Technology Development Center of High-Tech Zone, accompanied the research leaders.

On the morning of April 30, 2024, a delegation from Shandong Jincheng Kerui Chemicals Co., Ltd., including Assistant General Manager Sun Duo, Production Manager Li Jian, and Administration and Human Resources Manager Li Wenting, visited Rhein Köster for an inspection and exchange.

On April 25-26, 2024, the science education team from Zibo Liuquan Middle School, along with all first and second-year students, visited the Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Industry-Education Integration Demonstration Base for a themed educational field trip titled “Leading the Way in Science Education, Building a Dream of Wisdom Together with Schools and Enterprises.”

On April 26, 2024, the unveiling ceremony of the “Zibo Liuquan Middle School Off-Campus Curriculum Base” jointly established by Zibo Liuquan Middle School and Rhein Köster was held at the Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Industry-Education Integration Demonstration Base. Zhao Yuliang, Party Secretary and Principal of Zibo Liuquan Middle School, Vice Principal Zhang Yongqing, and other school and enterprise leaders attended the event.
